Astarion is no stranger to emotionally empty hookups, and so he has a well-honed sense of how long is long enough to split the difference between 'immediately vacating as if disgusted' and 'hanging around past the point of things getting awkward'. It's at this point that he kisses Huaisang's cheek and slides out from under him, slinging his feet over the side of the bed. His ritual scars shift over his shoulderblades as he reaches down to collect his clothes.
"I look forward to hearing you play again," he remarks over his shoulder.
Huaisang sits up and pulls on his robes, intent on at least seeing him to the door of his bedchamber.
“I look forward to playing for you.” He doesn’t think it’s in the stars for them to sleep together again, but he thoroughly enjoys having Astarion as a friend.
He’ll raise his hand in a slight wave and then disappear back into his bed, trusting him to shut the door behind him.
